M.I.B. Services is a Grounds Maintenance & Soft Landscape Construction company which was established in July 2002. All core staff are trained and qualified to CITB CSCS Health & Safety standards, CPCS trained Plant Operators & City & Guilds and LANTRA qualified in herbicide application and small plant and machinery operation. All staff are vetted through the “Disclosure Scotland” Certification process.

We are currently being assessed for the coveted “SAFE Contractor” accreditation certificate.
We are SEPA, (Scottish Environment Protection Agency) certified waste carriers and comply fully with the code of conduct, for the safe disposal of all waste handled and generated by our work operations.

We carry out commercial and private works to a high and safe standard. We fully comply with Health & Safety legislation through a documented Health & Safety, Method Statement and Risk Assessment process which is monitored through regular “toolbox talk” training sessions with staff.

We are based in Dalkeith, Midlothian and cover all areas in central Scotland, including West Lothian, Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian, Fife, Perth and the Borders region. We are capable of taking on both large and small projects.

Commercial Works:
Our range of sites varies from commercial factory sites, large & small private housing estates, Scottish Government facilities, Asda stores and Royal Mail depots. We currently cover West Lothian, Midlothian, Edinburgh, East Lothian, Fife, Perth and down to the Borders region. The majority of our work is carried out on behalf of Property Management companies and Factoring Agents and the remainder direct to customer and can consist of all grass operations, shrub bed and hedge pruning, chemical weed control, tree pruning & felling, litter picking and bark mulching. Soft Landscaping construction works carried out are, mechanical site clearance and ground preparation through to planting, bark mulching, turfing and fencing.

Private / Domestic Works:
We cover a range of services such as; garden clearance, wooden fencing, driveways (slabbed and mono-blocked), decking, patio’s, turfing, hedge and shrub work, tree removal, power washing of driveways.
