Nash’s Groundworks is a small family run company, started in the 1940’s by the present owners’ father.

We pride ourselves on our efficiency and reliability. If we say we are going to be on site we are there and our high standard of efficiency means that we can pass on savings to our customers – no wasted materials or man hours to pay for. You also get your contract completed more quickly allowing more time for you to get enjoyment or to be able to profit from the completed job.

All of our work is personally supervised by the owner of the business; he is on site at all times. We only use sub-contractors when there is a need for a specialist operation or equipment. We are confident to guarantee all of our work as it is carried out to a very high standard by very skilled and experienced operatives. We also offer free quotes for all enquiries, however large or small. We are of course fully insured and our Health and Safety policy is in place.

The contracts we undertake vary from sizeable commercial undertakings to small domestic driveways or patios.

We offer a complete service to the house owner or builder. We will clear and set out the site, and then complete all of the groundwork to floor-slab level (foundations, drainage- foul and storm, floor slab –solid or block and beam, utility trenches). Then after the property/extension is complete, we return to complete the hard landscaping, any fencing necessary and generally leave the site looking a good as you would like!

We have for many years worked closely with a property developer undertaking all of the groundwork on his sites, varying from one property to twenty. Many of our contracts have been for national businesses that provide materials for the building trade (roof tiles, building sand and aggregates), we carry out their improvements and maintenance projects.

We have also carried out many farm improvement schemes – milking parlours and drainage schemes being the most common. We have built horse ménages and stable blocks.

We have recently relocated to the Southampton area from Bedfordshire and are keen to establish our reputation here.
